Louis Vuitton

Las Vegas, NV

Feature Stair

In 2009 MCS collaborated with world renowned architect Peter Marino on Louis Vuitton’s largest national store in The Crystals, the retail component of Las Vegas’ famous City Center. MCS worked closely with Peter and his design team to realize and execute the group’s vision for a focal stair that would blend seamlessly with the surrounding three dimensional metallic curtains and 31-foot chandelier. The team focused on creating a commission that would both complement and draw inspiration from the brand’s signature flower and damier motifs. The stair was designed to float from floor to floor while integrating niches for retail displays and merchandise. The feature stair was crafted from polished stainless steel, low iron glass for the balustrade and solid cherry wood for the stair treads and handrails. The end result was a beautifully executed focal stair fitting the timeless elegance the LV brand.
